The only issue I ran into was after my test restore from a TI image made in Windows, the Windows log reported that the last shutdown had been unexpected, which it had not: I'm guessing that this is because the image was made with Windows running and it has no record of having been shut down properly when restored. Perhaps those having issues are using the more advanced features. In my testing it ran without issue, but I only did the basic stuff, like tt.froelich. I will probably re-install TI eventually, so I can start restores from Windows if need be, and mount images. rboris, that is precisely what I did installed TI 2010, tested it, made a Recovery CD, went back to square one and have been making my images outside of Windows, which I prefer. I did get Windows backup to run to an internal drive in RC, it took a long time, though I guess because it was imaging the whole drive. ![]() Sanga Mala, is there a way to back up only the system partition in Windows Backup, or does it have to do the whole drive eac time? This is one reason why I use Acronis it gives the option to back up partitions as well as whole drives. I have not yet had the opportunity to try it in Windows 7 RTM but I will and will report back. The errors I encountered in Win 7 RC 64 are detailed in this thread.
